We will then start on your ten day tour of bonnie Scotland

If arriving by air to Glasgow Airport, we provide a free pick up for boarding at Holy Loch, Dunoon at 1400 hours.
If arriving by car, secure free parking is available for the week at Holy Loch Marina inside the gates.

ITINERARY

Cruise Loch Long to Arrochar Dinner at anchor off Carrick Castle View spectacular Mount Stuart House from the sea Anchor in remote lochs and stroll along deserted beaches Try your hand at fishing and laying creels A birdwatchers paradise A tranquil breakfast at anchor off Stonefield Castle Visit a whisky distillery A swift pint at the Colintraive Inn by tender. Try locally produced cheeses, beer and aromatics

Cycling and Golf are amongst activity options (Saturday): arrive at Holy Loch and sail to Loch Goil: A leisurely cruise up Loch Long to Arrochar, anchoring off Carrick Castle in Loch Goil for the night. Then it's your first dinner on board and an opportunity to get to know your shipmates (Sunday): Loch Goil, Rothesay and Loch Riddon. Cruise up Loch Goil. Then south, along the coast of the Isle of Bute. Onshore by tender to explore Rothesay town, its Castle and Mount Stuart House. Cruise up the beautiful East Kyle to anchor in Loch Riddon, one of the more remote of the Argyll lochs and an evening stroll on its banks Try fishing or assist the crew in laying creels for lobster and crab. (Monday): Loch Riddon to East Loch Tarbert. Walk or cruise to Tignabruich and explore the town. Sail to East Loch Tarbert, a typical working fishing village with colourful houses and pubs; go ashore while the crew gets locally caught shellfish at the quayside for dinner. Anchor for the night at Stonefield Castle, in a beautiful bay and take a walk around the gardens to build an appetite for dinner. (Tuesday): East Loch Tarbert to Inveraray: Cruise up Loch Fyne taking in Minard Castle, then on to town of Inveraray. Take time to explore Inveraray Castle and former county court and prison of Argyll and choose from many delightful walks (Wednesday): Inveraray to Arran. Sail down Loch Fyne to the spectacular Isle of Arran, Have a stopover at Lochranza to visit the excellent Arran Distillery before cruising down the east of the island to Lamlash for the night. The boat tender takes guests ashore to the village for a walk or visit Holy Island which has a fascinating history, and is home to wild Eriskay ponies, Soay sheep and goats. (Thursday): Arran to Kyles of Bute. Sail round the Holy Isle before stopping for breakfast in Brodick Bay. Visit Brodick Castle and gardens, and walk to Brodick itself . Head north to the Cumbraes for a brief stop at Millport where cycling or golfing are options before sailing up the East Kyle towards the sheltered anchorage off Colintraive where we anchor for the night and the tender can take guests ashore for a swift pint at the local inn. (Friday) Enjoy breakfast underway en route to Holy Loch. Today, your Land Tour of Bonnie Scotland will commence.
