Majestic Line Cruising Area
Majestic Line cruising areas take in on some of the most spectacular scenery in the West Coast of Scotland, rich in history, culture and wildlife.
Sailing out of Holy Loch, near Dunoon, we explore the sea lochs and islands in South Argyll. It feels like another world, and yet it is only an hour from Glasgow. Despite this proximity, the area feels remote and the scenery is so beautiful it can literally take your breath away. There are a series of long slender sea lochs to explore including Loch Goil, Loch Striven, the Kyles of Bute, Loch Riddon and Loch Fyne. The Cumbrae Isles, the Island of Bute and the Island of Arran with the tiny and delightful Holy Island lying just off its coast are all within reach.
Sailing out of Oban, we have the option to cruise the entire coastline of Mull, anchoring off sheltered inlets and calling in at unique small islands including Iona and Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, sanctuaries for wildlife. The spectacular sea lochs of Linnhe and Sunart are also within reach with a unique perspective from the sea. From Oban we also sail south to Islay, calling in at Jura and Gigha, exploring the fascinating natural and cultural heritage of these beautiful and remote islands.

Your Crew
Looking after the boat, and your every need during your stay on board, are your skipper, chef, boat engineer and bosun. Majestic Line have had extremely positive feedback about the personalised service from the crews on Majestic Line vessels and their ability to make your holiday truly unique. In 2008, 100% of Majestic Line guests rated the hospitality from the crew across both boats as very good or excellent.
A favourite place for many of Majestic Line guests is in the wheelhouse with the skipper as they cruise to a new destination. Likewise the boat engineer is very pleased to give you a guided tour of his pride and joy, the engine room. Your chef will prepare, cook and serve you with first class cuisine, and ensure every other aspect of your time on board is perfect. Your bosun will support the other crew and take care of you on your onshore trips
Your crew will enjoy making your voyage a 'trip of a lifetime' both on and off the boat.
Majestic Line Vessels
The spacious accommodation on board allows for cruising in comfort and style for up to 12 guests in 6 double cabins. Majestic Line vessels are 85ft in length and are full of the character of their original construction. The conversion to small boat cruising provides a holiday that is truly unique. Majestic Line new guests are inevitably surprised at the variety and charm of the various parts of the boat and very soon form a strong attachment to their vessel!
The design of the vessel is to encourage informality and relaxation; the deck saloon is where guests gather and everyone dines together at one large table.
From the deck saloon there is access to the sheltered aft deck, the two deck cabins and the stairs which lead up to the wheelhouse and the upper decks. Stairs lead down to the four below deck cabins.
The size of Majestic Line vessels allows inshore access to delightful and remote areas not available to bigger cruise vessels. Each day there are new stops on offer and every night the boat anchors off a different stunning location for dinner.

Food and Drink
Dining is very convivial as all meals are served at the communal table in the deck saloon. All meals are freshly prepared each day by your onboard chef. The main ingredients are sourced locally, in particular shellfish, lamb and beef.
Breakfast is served between 8am - 9pm, lunch is around 1pm, afternoon tea is served at around 4pm and dinner at 7.30pm. These times may alter a little depending on the activities and cruise itinerary that day. House wine is included with dinner. There is a new set menu each day for all meals but individual food tastes and requirements are catered for. Teas, coffees, soft drinks, fruit and snacks are available all day. The boat has a well-stocked bar and drinks from the bar are the only item you will be asked to pay for throughout your cruise.
