8 Day Scotland Vacation package

Day 1

Your Scotland vacation package begins with collection at Glasgow Airport or Edinburgh Airport before visiting Loch Loch Lomond, Luss, Loch Long and Loch Fyne on our way as we travel over the 'Rest & Be Thankful' into the town of Dunoon where we will arrive at our choosen hotel in time for Dinner and to spend our first night.

Day 2

After breakfast travel to Inverary Castle (headquarters of Clan Campbell and home of The Duke & Duchess of Argyll) and from there travel to the Town of Oban for lunch. We then come back the way of the ancient standing stones of Kilmartin and Kilmartin Glen before returning to the hotel of our choice in time for the evening meal.

Day 3

After breakfast we will travel to the Isle of Skye via crainlarach, Glencoe visitor centre, Spean Bridge, Fort Augustus, Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochalsh and across the bridge to the Isle of Skye where we will arrive at our choosen hotel in time for our dinner.

Day 4

After breakfast we will do a full tour of the island, visiting Armadale castle & Gardens, Broadford, Portree, Uig, Dunvegan Castle and view the splendid Cuillins before returning to our choice of hotel in time for our evening meal.

Day 5

After breakfast, we head South to Pitlochry, which wins the 'Town In Bloom' every year and we will also visit the smallest distillery in Scotland, which probably has the finest single malt in Scotland. We shall continue South to the town of Stirling (Braveheart Country) which is where we will enjoy our evening meal and spend the night at our choosen hotel.

Day 6

After breakfast we visit the historical Stirling Castle, where the tour guides are excellent and good fun, and from there we go to visit Wallace's Monument which commemorates Scotland's greatest national hero, Sir William Wallace who defeated the English at the battle of Stirling bridge in the year 1297. If time permits, we can also visit the Bannockburn Heritage Centre to learn more of Scottish history. We then return to our choosen hotel in time for dinner.

Day 7

After breakfast we head for Edinburgh via South Queensferry to view the magnificent Forth Railway bridge, and then into Edinburgh where you can shop in Princess Street and The Royal Mile or the other alternative is you can go to the Rosslyn Chapel, made famous by Dan Brown's book the Da Vinci Code. We then return to the hotel of our choice in time for our evening meal.

Day 8

After breakfast we travel to Falkland Palace and the historical town of St Andrew's and then make our way to Glasgow for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast; which is where we will spend our final evening before our departure.

Day 9

Your hotel can provide transport to the airport of your choice.

Please note that the Glasgow and Edinburgh Hotels which we prefer to use can provide transport to your choice of airport.

Please also note that all of our accomodation is rated at 3 stars and above and include Dinner, Bed and Full Scottish Breakfast every day.

You will be taken on your Tour of Bonnie Scotland by your Driver/Tour Guide in a luxury People Carrier.

On your tour of Scotland you may experience some Scottish Food.
