Scotland is well know for its stunning landscape, beautiful castles and alluring island retreats. The Isle of Skye is one of the top locations in Scotland, famous for its scenery and landscapes that will take your breath away. This 4 day tour explores the shores of Loch Lomond and the glens of Glencoe before taking the famous Jacobite Steam Stean out to the rugged west coast. An enjoyable full day on the Isle of Skye provides plenty of interesting options before we finally head south to Loch Ness, Pitlochry and Stirling whilst enjoying some of the most beautiful and diverse scenery in Scotland all topped off with a tour of a Whisky Distillery to sample the "Water of Life".

Day 1 is a fabulous introduction to the Scottish landscape, admiring Scotland’s first National Park, Loch Lomond and the beautiful lochside village of Luss. We journey north through the stunning scenery of Glencoe and your afternoon Jacobite Steam Train journey provides wonderful views as you steam your way out to the west coast. Overnight nr Skye
Day 2 is an exploration of the beautiful Isle of Skye and begins with a journey northward past the spectacular mountain range of the Cuillins to the islands main town, Portree. Heading further north we take in the spectacular scenery of the Trotternish Ridge. This wild area is dominated by the weird and wonderful ancient rock formations such as the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock. Overnight nr Skye
Day 3 begins with a visit to Eilean Donan Castle before travelling through beautiful Glenshiel to the village of Fort Augustus on the shores of Loch Ness. We explore the Cairngorms National Park with towering mountain ranges and large tracts of Caledonian Pine Forest and if time permits, take a walk at the Creag Meagaidh Nature Reserve – a natural haven for wild plants and wildlife. Day 4 allows time to explore highland Perthshire before we travel to Deanston Distillery for some much-needed whisky tasting. Stirling is our next stop with a tour of Stirling Castle to take in the castle's long and turbulent history. We now head for South Queensferry to view the magnificent Forth Railway Bridge and then into our capital city, Edinburgh.
