We will stop at the Glenfinnan Viaduct on the shores of Loch Shiel to take in the views. After a lovely lunch in the traditional fishing port of Mallaig we take the ferry “Over the Sea to Skye”. An afternoon visit to Armadale Castle & Gardens will be a wonderful introduction to the islands unique culture and history. Overnight Isle of Skye.

Day 3

Isle of Skye

Today we tour the Isle of Skye. Options for the day are numerous and can be tailored to your exact requirements. We can visit the main settlement on the Island, Portree, with its colourful harbour front and interesting shops. Heading north we can take in the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock Falls and travel through the rugged Trotternish Peninsula to the Quiraing. If desired, you may wish to take a hike at the Fairy Pools. This will most definitely be a day to remember. Overnight Isle of Skye.

Day 4

Applecross Peninsula

Today we head north and introduce you to a wee gem of Scotland, the Applecross Peninsula. This is a beautiful and tranquil area accessed by only two roads. Applecross village is now connected via a winding coastal road called the ‘Bealach na Ba’ and from the road summits you will see breath-taking panoramas that can normally only be seen from the tops of mountains.  It's not the easiest place to get to but you'll never forget the journey. Overnight Isle of Skye.

Day 5

Eilean Donan Castle & Great Glen

After breakfast we leave the island, making our way south for a brief photograph stop at Eilean Donan Castle before we continue through beautiful Glenshiel and the ‘Five Sisters of Kintail’ mountain range. Later, we travel through the ‘Great Glen’ past Loch Lochy on our way south to meet up with Splendour before 4pm at the Holy Loch Marina near Dunoon. Overnight onboard Splendour.
