What is your passion?
Literature, hence the Robert Burns fascination. I have also worked in theatre as an Actor and Director for over 50 years!

Tell us about where you live?
I was born in England, raised in Scotland and I now live on the coast with the most amazing views across to the West Highlands. My local town is a busy wee hub with a few trendy bars and cafes if you feel like socialising. I am highly involved with the theatre here where I direct and cast for supporting artistes, extras and walkons for upcoming shows and plays. 

Do you have a favourite tour?
Anything tour that involves the Isle of Skye. I can still remember the first time I visited this special place and it will stay with me forever.

What's your favourite drink amongst friends?
Oooh, a nice cold pint of lager, or Prosecco if I'm feeling posh! 

When you’re not on tour?
I love long walks - it's a great way to destress and gather your thoughts. Join me on one of our walking tours and I'll prove it to you!

What do you love about Scotland?
Scottish people are both accommodating and friendly - our best qualities. Above all else, we love showing our country to friends and guests. We’re proud of it. Guiding for Best Scottish Tours gives me the opportunity to do exactly that - it's my dream job!
