Me in three - Outgoing | Fun-loving | Professional

Where I grew up - I was born and raised in Greenock in the west central Lowlands of Scotland.

My favourite tour - It has to be the 8 Day West Coast Islands & Rugged Highlands which visits the islands of Mull and Skye. Highlights of this fantastic tour are superb scenery and wildlife/bird spotting; especially opportunities to see Golden Eagles - one of the most amazing experiences I've had.

The 8 Day West Coast Islands & Wild Highlands Tour begins in Loch Lomond - the perfect place to introduce you to beautiful, rural Scotland. We also visit the Ardnamurchan Peninsula which is very remote and nothing short of breathtaking.  This is a great option for those of you who are intrested in Scottish History, as we take a trip to both Culloden Battlefield and Stirling Castle. I'd highly reccomend this tour!

What I drink amongst friends - I am a malt whisky connoisseur!

When I'm not touring with guests - I love exploring Argyll. Mostly around the Cowal peninsula where I live but I also enjoy day trips to the small seaside town of Inveraray too. My favourite eatery there is The George Hotel which was voted Scotland’s Best Inn 2020 and serves a cracking lunch or evening meal...not to be missed!

What people say...
"I cant endorse this tour company enough. Small, informative and colorful. Ask for Paul, he is accommodating, can pivot a plan and above all funny. Go!! Don't hesitate...crackin' good time...Aye."Kimberly P, San Francisco, California
"A wonderful tour filled with great sights, excellent accommodations and a tour guide that was par excellent! We had learned of the company through friends that had travelled with them last year. Usually, we are not drawn to tours, but their recommendations prompted us to investigate what Best Scottish Tours had to offer. Karen Komurcu, Client Relations, was very helpful in addressing our questions and planning our tour. We eventually booked ourselves and another couple on the 4 Day Iconic Scotland Tour. A delightful mother and daughter duo joined us increasing our total to 7 including our tour guide/driver. The van was both spacious and comfortable. Paul, our guide, soon became part of the group as he drove us though beautiful Scotland and narrated a series of stories and accounts of Scotland’s history and the lives of its people. Thank you, Paul, you made the trip a memorable one. The laughter, excitement, friendships, and shared memories are priceless. Every dollar invested in this tour was well spent!"Kimberly P, San Francisco, California
