9 Day Hebridean Islands and the Highlands

This tour ventures west on the roads less travelled to the edge of Scotland where life is very different. The journey takes in the rugged Isle of Mull; well known for its wildlife including whales, dolphins and sea eagles, but also its culture and superb mountains and coastal scenery. Touring north, we explore the remote Ardnamurchan peninsula; noted for being unspoiled and undisturbed, its remoteness is accentuated by the main route being a single track road. A ferry crossing takes us to the sparsely populated Uists in the Outer Hebrides where the Gaelic language, crofting and sheep farming is the way of life. Other highlights include the Applecross peninsula, Inverness and the Cairngorms National Park. This tour captures the simple life, the surreal, wild outdoors, where we hope to spot some of the incredible wildlife that exist in these parts.
