Day 1

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park & Glencoe

Day 1 Picking up from Glasgow, we head north for a fabulous introduction to the Scottish landscape. Exploring the mountains, glens and lochs of Scotland’s first National Park as we visit the beautiful village of Luss. The journey north takes us along the shores of Loch Lomond, stopping at the Falls of Falloch, to Rannoch Moor and through the stunning scenery of Glencoe, famous for its bloody massacre. We end the day in Scotland’s largest highland town. Overnight Fort William.

Day 2

Isle of Skye

Day 2 After breakfast we travel west for the seaside village of Mallaig to board the ferry to take us “Over the Sea to Skye”. We enjoy a tour of the Isle of Skye, passing the famous Cuillin Mountains and through Broadford to the main settlement on the Island; Portree. Heading north we take in the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock Falls in the rugged north of the island. This is a magical afternoon on the “Misty Isle”. Overnight Skye.

Day 3

Eilean Donan & Loch Ness

Day 3 Today begins with a visit to historic Eilean Donan Castle, sitting where three lochs meet. Later, we head for the Five Sisters of Kintail before travelling through beautiful Glenshiel to the village of Fort Augustus on the shores of Loch Ness. We spend the afternoon exploring the Cairngorms National Park with towering mountain ranges and large tracts of Caledonian Pine Forest, ending in the Victorian town of Pitlochry. Overnight Pitlochry

Day 4

Stirling Castle & Deanston Whisky

Day 4 Leaving Pitlochry, we explore highland Perthshire further as we visit the small village of Dunkeld on the banks of the River Tay before we head south to Deanston Distillery for some much-needed whisky tasting. Stirling is our next stop with a tour of Stirling Castle to take in the castle's long and turbulent history. We now head for the famous Forth Rail Bridge and into Edinburgh to end the tour.
